It's getting more than a little tiring waiting for approvals from Apple for my apps -- but what are you gonna do? It's their court, their ball, their rules. I just have to play along...
Well be that as it may, I'm still continuing along with the developments to Hot Wax DJ Player. Even though it has yet to be released publicly, I've done 2 sets of upgrades already.
The next round of changes will fix the glitch where a second needle marker appears while you try to manually scrub a track. Most importantly though, we're moving to an entirely new way of storing and working with track lists. No longer will it be a simple directory listing, but you'll be able to see full metadata about each track, including Artist, Genre and Duration. Along with that change will come the ability to change sort order and groupings to help you find tracks faster and easier.
The fourth major change will be the ability to advance the needle position by touching a Cue Point when the track is NOT playing (currently it has to be playing for the Cue buttons to work).
Well that's all for now. Here's hoping the Apple reviewers can get us approved and let us get this show on the road :)
Cheers,
D
